It was yet another Monday, around 10 a.m. Stepson in school, daughter in kindergarten. So I took the guitar and recorded a couple of old riffs. This one was written back in 2012. It’s very Metallica-ish, so the video would have been like “The most James Hetfield arpeggio I ever composed” or something.
We usually film in the evening, when the kids are in the bed. But that day we couldn’t manage it, and so had postponed it for tomorrow. The tomorrow that never came. We woke up to the news of war in Ukraine. New life began.
